Jenna Fischer's most recognizable role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly acclaimed television show The Office. She received two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on an ensemble comedy.
She was born and raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was impressed by her mother's church performances as she began her career.
Fischer is an actress with the theater background. She was a part of the Off-Broadway show Reasons to be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. Her role was later reprised in the world premiere of Steve Martin's new play Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking performance at Old Globe Theatre. In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey started a podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform, which has gained immense popularity, settling within the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads within its first two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year in January 2021.
She's published two books: The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide where she outlines her experience in Hollywood acting as a professional, and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends that Were There an account of the most memorable friendships they enjoyed as well as their experience on The Office.
